Corrigan-Camden Knocks Out Elysian Fields, 34-27

SHELBYVILLE -- Corrigan-Camden used the ground game to earn a 34-27 victory against Elysian Fields in the 3A Division II Region III bi-district game Thursday evening.

Bulldogs running back Ahston Jones rushed for 287 yards and three touchdowns to lead the team. Corrigan-Camden outgunned the Yellowjackets 487 to 348.

Jones ran for a 33-yard touchdown on fourth-and-1 to start the scoring.

Ryan Wilkerson finished 13-of-23 passing for 157 yards, three touchdowns and one interception for Elysian Fields. Christavian Smith added 114 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries.

Corrigan-Camden moves on to the area round, where it will face the winner of Cooper and Winona.
