Daingerfield Trounces Anderson-Shiro, 64-13

ATHENS -- Daingerfield held Anderson-Shiro scoreless in the second half on its way to a commanding 64-13 victory Thursday in a 3A Division II Region III bi-district game.

Jakobie Craver gained all 64 yards needed for the touchdown -- including the 30-yard score -- on the Tigers' opening drive. The Tigers scored two minutes later after a fumble recovery on a 3-yard run from Zaylon Jeter.

Anderson-Shiro scored its second and final touchdown of the game as time expired in the first half.

Daingerfield will face Harmony in the area round. The time, date and place have yet to be determined.
