Daingerfield's Tyrese Grant Picks Up Utah Offer

Tyrese Grant has been picking up a lot of traction of the recruiting trail of late.

The success only continued Monday, as Grant reported an offer from the University of Utah on Twitter.

Grant, a 2020 receiver for Daingerfield, also has offers from Appalachian State, Hawaii and Colorado State.

Grant has 27 catches for 561 yards and eight touchdowns thus far this season. Daingerfield (7-3) is still in the 3A Division II playoffs, where it will face Harmony in the area round at 2 p.m. Friday at Pirate Stadium in Longview.

Utah competes in the Pac 12 and is currently 8-3 and 6-3 in conference play.

Grant, like all juniors, is first eligible t sign with any school that offers him beginning in December 2019.
