ETSN.fm 2014 Week 6 Class 6A/5A Poll: John Tyler Reaches Top Spot + Nacogdoches Climbs To No. 2

There were a couple of big movers in this week's ETSN.fm East Texas Class 6A/5A poll after an interesting opening week of District 15- and 16-5A.

John Tyler (3-1), by virtue of its 52-17 blowout of Whitehouse, moved up two spots to No. 1. Nacogdoches (4-0), meanwhile, leapt four positions to No. 2 after a 38-35 victory over Lufkin kept the Dragons unbeaten on the season.

Lufkin 2-2) dropped a couple of spots to No. 3, Tyler Lee (2-3) is down three spots after its 35-30 loss to Rowlett last Friday night, while Whitehouse (3-1) fell a spot to No. 6.

Hallsville (3-1) and Marshall (2-2) exchanged spots at No. 8 and 9, respectively, following Hallsville's 21-19 win in their District 15-5A opener.

Longview (2-2), Texas High (2-2) and Sulphur Springs (1-3) all held steady at fourth, seventh and 10th, respectively.
