GRAND SALINE — The Harmony Eagles capped the regular season with a 55-13 win over Grand Saline in District 10-3A Division II action Friday night.

Harmony took a commanding 21-0 lead in the first quarter on a 26-yard touchdown pass from Gage Goddard to Michael Everett, a 50-yard run by Brody Powledge, and a 33-yard interception return for a touchdown by Everett.

Caleb McNeil grabbed an interception from the Grand Saline end zone, returning it 101 yards, but was stopped just short of the goal-line, setting up an easy rushing touchdown for Easton Blackstone.

Grand Saline’s only points came in the third on a 54-yard run by Jake Humphrey, and in the fourth on a 55-yard pass from Jase Melton to Levi Humphrey.

Barrett Hill rushed for 147 yards on seven carries in the first half, including an 85-yard touchdown run. He later added an 86-yard kickoff return.

Harmony (9-1, 7-0) will face Bells (4-6) at 7 p.m. on Thursday in Emory to open the playoffs. Grand Saline (6-3, 4-3) will face Blue Ridge (6-4) in bi-district. Date and location is to be determined.
