Jefferson Stays Unbeaten With 41-30 Win Over Rival Elysian Fields
ELYSIAN FIELDS -- Three Jefferson players rushed for at least 99 yards in the Bulldogs' 41-30 win over Elysian Fields on Friday night.
Dee Black rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns for Jefferson, the first from 77 yards out and the second for 59.
Bulldogs quarterback Trey Hodge ran for 99 yards and a touchdown and threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to T.Q. Jackson in the win.
Jefferson's Tyron Williams led all rushers with 12 carries for 178 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown.
Christavian Smith led Elysian Fields (2-1) with 138 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.
Michael Ramirez returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown in Elysian Fields' loss.
