John Tyler Routs Wylie East, 51-3, Moves to 2-0 in District

TYLER – The John Tyler Lions moved to 2-0 in District 7-5A Division I with an easy 51-3 rout of Wylie East on Friday night.

Lions (3-2) quarterback Devlen Woods passed for 207 yards and three touchdowns, and added another on the ground.

Kitan Crawford ran for a 71-yard touchdown, and brought in a 68-yard reception for John Tyler as well.

Michael Hogg Jr. also added a 59-yard punt return for a score.

John Tyler returns to action next Friday at West Mesquite.
