Another offer arrived for Josh Foster.

Foster, a 2019 ATH at Newton, reported that Lamar became the latest school to offer him Tuesday afternoon.

Foster (6-0, 165) also holds major FBS offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, TCU, and Utah.

Foster is one of five Eagles to receive FBS scholarship offers The other four are Tamauzia Brown, Darwin Barlow, Caiden Walker and James Sylvester.

Playing quarterback for the Eagles in 2017, Foster threw for 1,977 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also played defensive back, recording one interception.

He wasn't the only Eagle to receive an offer, however.

Darwin Barlow, a 2019 RB at Newton, tweeted Tuesday evening that the Cardinals also offered him a scholarship.

Last season, Barlow starred in the backfield, racking up 2,246 yards rushing and an area-leading 38 rushing touchdowns. He helped lead Newton to the Class 3A Division II state championship.

Lamar competes in the Southland Conference of the NCAA's FCS subdivision. The Cardinals finished 2-9 this past season.

Foster, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any school that offers him beginning in December.
