ROCKWALL -- Martrevious Allen scored from a yard out with 54 seconds remaining to lift John Tyler to a 37-33 win over Rockwall-Heath on Friday in a District 11-6A bout.

Devlen Woods hit Ke'Andre Street for a 32-yard completion to get JT down to the 1, which followed a 22-yard completion from Woods to Michael Givens-Washington on second-and-20.

Woods came in the game for starting quarterback K'Lon Warren, who completed 12 of 16 passes for 194 yards and three touchdowns for JT (5-2, 3-1). Warren threw touchdowns to Givens-Washington (4 catches, 99 yards), Ke'Andre Street (5 catches, 97 yards) and Woods (2 catches, 34 yards).

Givens-Washington also returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, which after a Woods-to-Street two-point conversion, cut Rockwall-Heath's lead to 33-30.

After going into halftime tied at 15-15, JT struck first in the second half on Warren's 64-yard touchdown pass to Givens-Washington.

Rockwall-Heath responded, however, on Desmon Williams' 1-yard touchdown run to tie the game at 22-22 and took the lead when Dawson Miller recovered a blocked punt in the end zone.

Cameron Grant led JT on the ground with 77 yards on 15 carries.

Williams scored two touchdown runs for Rockwall-Heath, while quarterback Garrett Cody went 8 of 20 passing for 103 yards and a touchdown to Jackson Salley, who finished with four catches for 73 yards.
