Liberty-Eylau Takes Out Gilmer to End Season, 56-42
GILMER -- Liberty-Eylau closed the season with a 56-42 victory against Gilmer to finish in third place in District 6-4A Division II.
The Leopards were led by Isaiah Cross, who threw for 127 yards in the victory.
Gilmer scored the first two touchdowns of the game, but Liberty-Eylau rallied back and scored 27 points in the fourth quarter to earn the victory.
Liberty-Eylau will face Caddo Mills at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Emory for the first round of the playoffs. The Buckeyes will face Sunnyvale at a time and date to be determined.
