One of the top players in a loaded 2014 East Texas football class committed Saturday.

Liberty-Eylau's Davion Hall pledged to Baylor on Saturday evening during a junior day event, according to BearsTruth.com.

Hall is widely considered one of the top players not only in East Texas, but in the entire state in the 2014 class. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder has played both sides of the ball his sophomore and junior years, giving L-E a home-run threat at wide receiver and a playmaker in the secondary.

Hall was recently named to the ETSN.fm Football Super Team Second Team as a defensive back. Hall had 75 tackles, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and one defensive touchdown in 2012, which saw the Leopards finish 4-6.

Offensively, Hall accounted for 655 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns, catching 12 passes for 315 yards and three scores and running 29 times for 340 yards and seven touchdowns. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown.
