Ty Patterson had a field day against Clarksville.

The Linden-Kildare linebacker recorded 18 tackles –  six of which were solo – and a sack in a 21-7 win for the Tigers. He also had a fumble recovery that he returned 75 yards for a touchdown.

The touchdown was an exclamation point for Linden-Kildare, as it was the final touchdown of the evening for either side.

Patterson's performance not only gave his team the victory, but also earned him the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Defensive Player of the Week for Week 2. He follows White Oak's Elijah Trest, who won the award in Week 1.

The Tigers are 2-0 following the win. They will take on Queen City, a fellow undefeated team, at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Linden.
