Logan Green Lifts Wolfe City to Thrilling Win Over Union Grove

EMORY -- Logan Green scored a 1-yard touchdown run with 57 seconds left to send Wolfe City to a 21-20 win over Union Grove on Thursday in a Class 2A Division I bi-district game.

The Wolfe City (9-2) quarterback got his team to the 1-yard line after hitting Dylan Wilson for a 25-yard gain on fourth-and-9. Joaquin Barcenas kicked the game-winning extra point after Green's touchdown.

Wolfe City will move on to face the San Augustine-Deweyville winner in the area round.

Union Grove took a 20-14 lead after quarterback Mikie Webb hit Wesley Atkinson for a 70-yard touchdown.

Webb led Union Grove (7-4) on the ground with 16 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown, while Dylan Borden rushed for 79 yards and a score on 12 carries.

Devonte Brown rushed for 124 yards on 21 carries to lead Wolfe City, and Wilson finished with 18 carries for 83 yards.
