Longview’s Chris Kessler Commits to Texas State

Chris Kessler has made a decision.

Late Thursday evening, Kessler posted on Twitter that he is committing to Texas State.

Kessler, a kicker for Longview, has made seven field goals and 36 extra points this season.  He also had an offer from Army.

Texas State competes in the NCAA Division I FBS subdivision in the Sun Belt conference. The Bobcats are 2-7 thus far this season.

Longview is 8-1 this season and will close out the year Friday with a road game against Mesquite.
