Add Jephaniah Lister to Lobo lore.

Lister, a defensive back for Longview, became the school's leading tackler this past week against Amarillo Tascosa. He has 356 career tackles, passing former Lobo Joe Brown, who previously held the record with 346.

Lister finished with 26 tackles, including two for loss, in Longview's 45-42 victory to advance to the state championship. He is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Defensive Player of the Week. He follows Pleasant Grove's Tyler Kelley, who took the award in Week 15.

Longview (15-0) will face Beaumont West Brook (13-2) at 3 p.m. Saturday in the 6A D-II state championship at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
