Louisiana-Monroe Offers John Tyler Lineman Duo
Two 2019 John Tyler linemen received new Division I FBS scholarship offers on Thursday.
Chance Billington and JaBralen Yarber each announced offers from Louisiana-Monroe via Twitter.
Billington (6-3, 301) now has six FBS offers. ULM joins Iowa State, New Mexico State, SMU, Texas State, and Tulane.
Yarber (6-1, 280), who received his first Division I offer Tuesday form Northwestern State, became the 28th member of East Texas' recruiting class to hold at least one FBS offer with ULM jumping on board.
Billington anchored an offensive line that helped John Tyler average almost 29 points per game last season. Yarber played on both sides of the ball in 2017. The Lions finished last year with a 5-5 overall record.
ULM is a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The Warhawks are coached by Matt Viator and finished 2017 with an overall record of 4-8 (4-4 in conference).
Billington and Yarber, like all juniors, are first eligible to sign with any program that offers them in December.
