With National Signing Day less than a month away, colleges are making their final pitches to recruits in the 2018 class.

On Tuesday night, Lufkin senior receiver Malik Jackson announced via Twitter that he received an offer from Incarnate Word.

Jackson (5-8, 163) also holds FBS opportunities from Arkansas State, Houston, Texas State, and Tulane.

The Lufkin playmaker led the team in receiving with 64 catches for 835 yards and eight touchdowns in helping the Panthers to an 11-3 record and berth in the Class 6A Division II quarterfinals.

Incarnate Word, located in San Antonio, is an FCS program that competes in the Southland Conference. The Cardinals just hired former Texas Tech assistant Eric Morris as their next head coach.

Last season, Incarnate Word finished 1-10 overall and 1-7 in conference play.

Jackson, like all seniors, is eligible to sign with any Division I program that offers him on Feb. 7.
