One day after his receiving his first offer from a Pac-12 school, Marshall junior offensive lineman Chasen Hines has picked up another.

Hines (6-3, 340) reported via Twitter on Friday that Oregon has become the latest school to pursue. Conference foe Arizona offered Hines, Thursday.

The Mavericks' lineman now has 14 Division I FBS offers. Hines announced a top 5 a few weeks back, which included LSU, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, and Texas A&M. It remains to be seen, however, whether that list might change or expand in the coming months as Hines receives more attention from other programs.

Hines helped Marshall’s offense to 3,939 total yards in an 11-game 2016 season. As a sophomore, he was part of an offense that put up 5,401 total yards and drove the team to a third-round appearance in the Class 5A Division I state playoffs.

Oregon is coming off its worst season since 1991, finishing with a 4-8 record. Mark Helfrich was fired after four years on the job, and the Ducks hired Willie Taggart as his replacement.

Taggart spent the previous four seasons as head coach at South Florida, where he went 24-25 overall. Taggart led USF to a 10-2 record in 2016, tying for first place in the East Division of the American Athletic Conference.

Hines, like all college football prospects currently in their junior year of high school, will become eligible to sign with any school that offers him in February of 2018.
