Missouri State Offers West Rusk’s DJ Hart
The fourth Division I scholarship offer arrived Thursday for West Rusk 2019 ATH DJ Hart.
The Raiders' two-way standout reported via Twitter that Missouri State has offered.
Hart (6-0, 175) also has an FBS offer from Kansas and a couple of FCS opportunities from Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Stephen F. Austin.
This past season, Hart had four interceptions and 12 pass deflections for the Raiders. He was part of a vaunted defense that forced 39 turnovers as a whole. On offense, Hart accumulated 652 yards and scored five touchdowns.
West Rusk went 10-3, losing to eventual champion Newton in the regional quarterfinal.
Missouri State is an FCS school that competes in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Bears are coached by Dave Steckel, and were 3-8 overall and 2-6 in league play in 2017.
Hart, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any program that offers him in December.
