Missouri the Latest to Offer Pine Tree WR JJ Sparkman
The season may be over for JJ Sparkman, but the offers continue to come in.
Sparkman, a 2020 receiver for Pine Tree, tweeted Sunday evening that Missouri offered him a scholarship, becoming the eighth FBS school to do so.
Sparkman also has offers from Arkansas, Iowa State, North Texas and plenty more schools. He led the Pirates in receiving in 2018, finishing with 659 yards and 10 touchdowns on 27 catches.
Pine Tree finished the year with a 5-5 record, just missing the playoffs out of District 9-5A Division II.
Missouri competes in the SEC and is currently 7-4 and 3-4 in conference play. Barry Odom in the coach of the Tigers.
Sparkman, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any school that offers him beginning in December 2019.
