Newton’s Tamauzia Brown Collects TCU Offer

It's been quite the past few days for Tamauzia Brown.

After receiving offers from Arkansas and Houston on Thursday, Brown reported Saturday that TCU offered him a scholarship.

Brown is a 2019 ATH for Newton. He plays cornerback and receiver for the Eagles. He finished 2017 as East Texas' interceptions leader, while also posting a combined 1,432 yards rushing and receiving and 18 total touchdowns.

TCU finished 11-3 this season and 7-2 in the Big 12. It defeated Stanford, 39-37 in the Alamo Bowl.

Brown, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him in December 2018.
