Northwestern State First Division I Offer For John Tyler’s JaBralen Yarber

The first Division I scholarship offer arrived Tuesday for John Tyler 2019 OL/DL JaBralen Yarber.

John Tyler head football coach Ricklan Holmes reported via Twitter that Northwestern State has offered.

Yarber (6-1, 280) played on both sides of the ball in 2017. The Lions finished last season with a 5-5 overall record.

Northwestern State is an FCS school that competes in the Southland Conference. The Blue Demons are under the direction of first-year head coach Brad Laird after finishing 2017 with an overall record of 4-7 (4-5 in conference).

Yarber, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any program that offers him in December.
