Pittsburg’s Jaylon Jimmerson Adds Abilene Christian Offer
Jaylon Jimmerson added another Division I scholarship offer, he tweeted Thursday.
Jimmerson, a 2019 prospect who plays quarterback and defensive back for Pittsburg, also has an offer from Incarnate Word.
Jimmerson has passed for 2,167 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season. He has also rushed for 1,075 yards and 18 touchdowns. Defensively, he leads the Pirates with six interceptions and also has 81 tackles and nine pass break ups.
Pittsburg 9-3 after defeating Rusk in the area round of the playoffs. The Pirates have a regional semifinal game with Lorena at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Royse City ISD Stadium.
Abilene Christian competes in the Southland Conference of the NCAA's FCS subdivision. The Wildcats finished the regular season 6-5.
Jimmerson, like all seniors, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him in December.
