Spring Hill Snaps Six-Year Losing Streak to Rival White Oak With 36-20 Victory
WHITE OAK -- Gage White and the Spring Hill Panthers used big plays to snap a six-game losing streak to arch-rival White Oak on Friday night.
Spring Hill, unbeaten at 3-0 in 2017, needed only three plays to take a 14-0 lead in the game and never looked back. It was the Panthers' first win over White Oak since 2010.
Panthers quarterback Gage White threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns on only five completions. Two touchdowns went to Dayson Adaway for 73 and 52 yards.
White also ran for a 94-yard touchdown on the Panthers' third play of the game which gave Spring Hill a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.
Bo Reddic ran for 123 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries for White Oak. Roughnecks quarterback Heath Hood completed 28 of 45 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns, both of which went to Kason Kienzle, who finished with 11 catches for 140 yards.
