State 7-on-7 Tournament: Whitehouse Reaches Consolation Quarterfinals

COLLEGE STATION — The Whitehouse Wildcats, regulars at the state 7-on-7 tournament, went 2-1 on Saturday to finish as Division I consolation quarterfinalists at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex.

Whitehouse defeated Hebron, 27-21, and Laredo Alexander, 13-6, in the Round of 32 and Round of 16, respectively.

The Wildcats were eliminated in the consolation quarterfinals with a 32-18 loss to Temple.

On Friday, Whitehouse finished third in Pool L with a 1-2 finish. Whitehouse suffered losses by to Midlothian and Cy Ranch by a combined nine points before earning a 26-22 win over Dallas Bishop Dunne.
