Texas State First to Offer Tyler Lee’s Jamal Ligon
Tyler Lee 2020 defensive end Jamal Ligon became the 12th member of East Texas' 2020 recruiting class to receive a Division I FBS scholarship offer.
Ligon (6-2, 240) reported via Twitter that Texas State offered on Monday.
The versatile Red Raiders' athlete played both tight end and defensive end for a Lee team that finished 6-4 overall in 2017 under first-year head coach Kurt Traylor.
Texas State competes in the Sun Belt Conference and is coached by Everett Withers. The Bobcats were 2-10 overall and 1-7 in conference play in 2017.'
Ligon, like all sophomores, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him beginning in December 2019.
