Trae Hall’s Four Touchdowns Lift Henderson Past Pine Tree, 39-17
LONGVIEW -- Henderson senior quarterback Trae Hall accounted for four touchdowns to lead the Lions to a 39-17 rout of Pine Tree on Friday night.
Henderson (4-0) will head into District 9-4A Division I play next week with an unblemished record. The Lions play at Chapel Hill (3-1) on Friday night.
Hall ran for touchdown runs of 54, 2, and 1 yards. He also passed for 105 yards on just five completions, including a 30-yard touchdown to Caleb Medford.
Henderson's defense also got into the scoring act with a 54-yard interception return for a touchdown. Trey Blanton also came down with an interception for the Lions.
Pine Tree (0-4) opens District 16-5A play next Friday night at Sulphur Springs (2-2).
