HENDERSON -- Trae Hall accounted for 367 yards of offense and Henderson held off Pittsburg, 35-21, on Friday night to maintain its perfect start to the season.

Trae Hall ran for 184 yards and passed for 183 in the game and scored touchdowns by air and the ground. His 49-yard touchdown pass to Trey Blanton gave Henderson a 7-0 lead, and his 30-yard scoring run made the score 28-7 in the third quarter.

D.Q. Murphy ran for 143 yards and two touchdowns in Henderson's win.

Jaylon Jimmerson passed for 217 yards and three touchdowns, the last of which went to Keontae Burns for 92 yards to cut Henderson's lead to 28-21 with 7:57 left in the game.

Murphy responded, however, with a 30-yard touchdown run with 2:40 left to put the game away.
