The East Texas recruiting class already has one representative competing at the 2018 Under Armour All-America Game in January, and now two more area players have a chance to go as well.

Arp safety and University of Texas commit DeMarvion Overshown is confirmed to participate in the annual high school football all-star game.

A fan vote has matched up 32 players in a bracket-style contest over the next several weeks to determine the final two roster spots. Four players were chosen from each of eight geographic regions by a selection panel.

Two of the 32 recruits come from East Texas -- Pleasant Grove linebacker Xavier Benson and Texas High receiver Tevailance Hunt.

Benson, a Texas Tech commit, is matched up with Michael Wilson, a Stanford receiver pledge from West Hills, Calif., in the first round.

Hunt, who is committed to TCU, will take on Solomon Enis, a receiver from Phoenix who is undecided.

The voting website features the full bracket and video highlights of each player. Voting is limited to one vote per browser session per matchup.

Voting began at noon CDT Wednesday, and the first round of voting will end at 11:59 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

The 2018 Under Armour All-America Game is scheduled to take place on Jan. 4, 2018 in Orlando, Fla. It will be televised by ESPN.
