Tyler Bishop Gorman Comes Back to Win Against Waskom

TYLER--Tyler Bishop Gorman trailed at halftime, but bounced back in the second to defeat Waskom, 56-38.

Gorman scored the first 21 points of the second half on a 16-yard run by Alvaro Betancourt, a 6-yard pass from Jake Smith to Isaiah Haggerty and a 32-yard pass from Smith to Tyler Hobbs.

Smith’s 45-yard TD pass to Schmidt with 5:36 to play sealed the win, but the Crusaders tacked on a late score with a 47-yard fumble return for a TD by Jeremy Milton.

Gorman is 4-0 after the victory.

Gorman opens up district play next week against Carrollton Prince of Peace.
