Tyler Lee Breezes Past Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES--Tyler Lee turned up the intensity when it needed to.

The Red Raiders scored 41 unanswered points Friday night to defeat Nacogdoches 41-19. Tyler Lee was trailing 13-0 when it went on the run.

LaDarius Wickware led the Red Raiders, rushing for 235 yards and one touchdown. Tyler Lee had 421 yards total on the ground Friday, of which Chance Amie added 106, including a 50-yard touchdown. Amie also threw for two scores in the victory.

Nacogdoches running back Marcus Sweat had both of the Dragons' touchdowns.

Tyler Lee improved to 3-0 with the win and opens district play against Rockwall-Heath on Friday.
