Although plenty of juniors have been receiving scholarship offers this offseason, there's still a few recruits from the 2018 class looking for a home next fall.

Malik Jackson is among them. The 2018 receiver from Lufkin reported an offer from UTEP on Thursday evening.

Jackson finished the 2017 season with 64 receptions, 835 yards and eight touchdowns to lead the Panthers in all three categories. He decommitted from Houston in October and also has offers from Texas State, Tulane and Arkansas State.

UTEP competes in the Conference USA in the NCAA FBS subdivision. The Miners finished the 2017-18 season without a win.

Jackson, like all seniors, is eligible to sign with any team that offers him. on Feb. 7
