The most recruited player in East Texas' 2015 class received yet another offer when Wake Forest made Nacogdoches cornerback Jaylon Lane a target, the Dragons' DB announced via Twitter on Saturday.

Lane (6-2, 185) now has 25 offers to his name, four more than anyone else among the area's 2015 prospects. Wake Forest became the third ACC program to extend an offer Lane's way, joining Louisville and Syracuse.

The Nacogdoches product, who briefly committed to Ole Miss last month, recently hinted on Twitter of potentially make another commitment in the near future.

There are now 47 unique Division I FBS programs that have offered the 18 East Texans with at least one FBS offer. Wake Forest went 4-8 last season overall and 2-6 in conference play.

Lane, who recently transferred back to his native Nacogdoches, has spent the last two seasons at Central High School in San Angelo. As a junior, he made 46 tackles with five interceptions and averaged almost 46 yards on five kickoff returns, which included a 108-yarder for a touchdown.

Nacogdoches could field one of the top secondaries in the area this fall with Lane and 2016 safety Brandon Jones, who already has 12 high-major offers. Jones had 95 tackles, five interceptions, one defensive score and two special teams returns for touchdowns in 2013.
