West Rusk Beats Arp, 24-0, for Fourth Shutout of 2017 Season

ARP -- West Rusk notched its third consecutive shutout and fourth of the season with a 24-0 win over District 9-3A Division II foe Arp on Friday night.

Jaylon Garland ran for 142 yards and two touchdowns to pace West Rusk's offense. The Raiders remained undefeated on the season at 6-0 and 3-0 in district.

West Rusk has allowed just 31 points from its opponents so far this season. The Raiders entertain Waskom next Friday, while Arp (2-5, 1-3) faces arch-rival Troup.
