LINDALE -- Jake Parker hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer in Whitehouse's 48-46 victory over Tyler Lee in the championship game of the Lindale Hoop Heaven basketball tournament on Saturday night.

Parker led the Wildcats with 16 points. Teammate Patrick Mahomes chipped in with 15.

Taylor Tankersley led Lee (7-1), which lost its first game of the season, with 15 points.

THIRD-PLACE GAME

Spring Hill 55, Lindale 34

Matt Williams scored 13 points, and the Spring Hill Panthers cruised by tournament host Lindale, 55-34, to clinch third-place.

Ben Brundrett added eight points and eight rebounds for Spring Hill. Clay Lattier had seven points, five rebounds and three assists.

Dakota Heinaman was Lindale's leading scorer with seven points.

CONSOLATION CHAMPIONSHIP

North Forney 60, Pine Tree 46

Roy Neugent scored 21 points to lead North Forney past Pine Tree, 60-46, to claim the Hoop Heaven consolation title.

Alec Harris and Armani Watts each added 12 points for North Forney, which took control of the game with a 21-point second quarter.

Caleb Chumley led Pine Tree with 23 points.

SEVENTH-PLACE GAME

Lufkin Hudson 60, Tyler T.K. Gorman 53

Daren Simmons scored 19 points to lead Lufkin Hudson by Tyler T.K. Gorman, 60-53, to claim seventh place.

Malek Zaher added 15 points in the win for Hudson, which held on after building a 13-point halftime lead.

T.K. Gorman's Ben Ashworth led all scorers with 28 points. Sean Goforth and Brandon Lackner each had 11 for the Crusaders.

GIRLS

CHAMPIONSHIP

Pine Tree 39, Lindale 35

Sophomore post Sky Holmes scored 18 points to lead the Pine Tree Lady Pirates to a 39-35 victory over Lindale on Satuday in the championship game of the Lindale Hoop Heaven tournament.

Senior guard Abby Mitchell added 12 points for Pine Tree.

Zhanelle Geathers led Lindale with 14 points.

CONSOLATION CHAMPIONSHIP

Bullard 52, Henderson 28

Taylor Fredrick had 15 points to help the Bullard Lady Panthers to a 52-28 rout of Henderson in the consolation championship of the girls bracket.

Carolanne Anderson had 12 points and Madison Slayter added 10 in the win for Bullard.

Raven Partin led Henderson with 11 points.

SEVENTH-PLACE GAME

Chapel Hill 36, Kilgore 28

Gabby Brooks and Shay Ross each scored 10 poins, leading Chapel Hill to a 36-28 victory over Kilgore and a seventh-place finish.

Tony Burks paced Kilgore with 12 points.
