Kilgore + Hallsville Each Claim Three Superlatives on 32-4A All-District Boys Soccer Team

District champion Kilgore and Hallsville took home three superlative honors apiece with the release of the 32-4A all-district boys soccer team, as voted by the league's coaches.

Kilgore goalkeeper J.D. Perales was named Most Valuable Player, while Christian Perales was named Newcomer of the Year. Aaron Erickson, who led Kilgore (22-4-4) to its fourth consecutive regional final in his second year at the helm, received Coach of the Year honors.

Henderson's Christian Olague was tabbed Offensive Player of the Year. Pine Tree's Seth Graves was named Defensive Player of the Year.

Hallsville's Jamil Young earned Sophomore of the Year accolades, while teammates Arturo Rodriguez and Jordan Edgar received the top utility player and top goalkeeper awards, respectively.

Pine Tree received the district's sportsmanship award.
