Lamon Hillis + Tyran Betts Lead Paul Pewitt to 55-28 Rout of Leonard

PATTONVILLE —Tyran Betts and Lamon Hillis combined to score seven touchdowns to lead Paul Pewitt to a 55-28 rout of Leonard on Friday in a Class 3A Division II area playoff.

Paul Pewitt (8-4) will face West Rusk -- a 31-14 winner over Howe on Friday night -- on Thanksgiving night at Lobo Stadium in Longview. The time is still to be determined.

Hillis finished the night with 18 carries for 276 yards and five touchdowns, while Betts totaled 134 yards and two scores on 21 carries.

LaBrandon Webster added 74 yards and a score for the Brahamas, who also recorded four interceptions on defense.
