Mount Pleasant athletic director and head football coach Mart Graham has resigned after four seasons on the job.

Graham, who according to a
report will remain in the school district, went 16-24 in his time at Mount Pleasant, including this season's 4-6 finish that resulted in the Tigers missing the playoffs for the third time in his four-year tenure.

Mount Pleasant entered 2013 with high expectations after going 8-3 last season, its highest single-season win total since 1997. But a rash of injuries to key players on both sides of the ball derailed the season for the Tigers, who lost six of their final seven games after beginning 3-0.
