Mount Pleasant’s K.D. Cannon Receives 18th Offer

East Texas’ leader in scholarship offers in the 2014 class picked up another Wednesday night.

Mount Pleasant receiver K.D. Cannon announced on Twitter that Vanderbilt offered him. The Commodores join Miami and Ole Miss, which offered Cannon a week and a half ago, as the latest programs to offer the 6-foot, 160-pound playmaker.

Cannon led East Texas in receptions and receiving touchdowns and finished second in receiving yards in 2012, when he amassed 104 grabs for 1,597 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Cannon’s entire offer list is as follows: Arizona, Baylor, Clemson, Florida State, Houston, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia.
