WHITE OAK -- The backcourt trio of Alexes Bell, Kiana Turner, and Amee Smith were up to their usual pressure-defense ways Tuesday, which was once again good news for Tatum.

The three guards combined for 12 steals and two-thirds of Tatum's scoring in a 60-36 victory at White Oak in a District 17-2A matchup at E.B. Carrington Gymnasium.

Turner hit 8 of 15 field-goal attempts to lead Tatum (23-2, 6-0) with 21 points, five rebounds, and two steals, while Bell added eight points, six steals, five rebounds, and four assists. Smith had 11 points and four steals.

Tatum outscored White Oak 16-7 in the second quarter to build a 27-13 halftime lead that the Ladynecks couldn't overcome. That lead ballooned to 19 points, 42-23, entering the fourth quarter.

Whitney Simmons had a solid game for the Ladynecks (15-7, 4-2) with nine points, nine rebounds, and five blocks. Makenzie Goll led White Oak with 10 points, while Dorothy Swanson added eight points and five rebounds.
