JACKSONVILLE -- Megan Harris had three RBIs and four steals, sparking Whitehouse to a 15-3 rout of Jacksonville on Friday night in District 16-4A action.

The pitching duo of Maggie Beard and Morgan Maquirk was more than enough for the LadyCats. Beard pitched a perfect three innings, while Maquirk allowed three runs on three hits with two strikeouts and two walks in her two innings.

Whitehouse is back in action at home Tuesday against Nacogdoches, while Jacksonville is at John Tyler.

Danielle Gregory Powers Winnsboro to Win

WINNSBORO -- Danielle Gregory's three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth helped lead Winnsboro to a 10-8 win over Alba-Golden on Friday in District 14-2A competition.

The win improved Winnsboro to 13-5-1 overall and 4-3 in district play.

Brenda Jongsma, who worked the game's first four innings in the circle, went 4-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs. Freshman Kasey Thomas went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and three runs scored.

Kim Jongsma worked the game's final three innings in the circle to grab the win.

Winnsboro returns to action Tuesday at Grand Saline, while Alba-Golden plays host to Lone Oak.

Tyler Grace Scores Win Over Dallas Christian

TYLER -- Taylor Kingsley and Fallon Roberts each had three RBIs, leading Tyler Grace to a 15-8 win over Dallas Christian on Friday in TAPPS District 2-4A action.

Haley Evans and Kylee Stanley added two RBIs apiece for the Lady Cougars.

Kingsley pitched all seven innings to earn the win, allowing eight runs (five earned) on four hits with four strikeouts and five walks.

The Lady Cougars fell to All Saints, 10-9, on Thursday.

Tyler Grace is back in action Thursday with a doubleheader at Carrollton Prince of Peace.
