TATUM -- Sophomore quarterback Khalan Griffin ran for three touchdowns and passed for another, leading Chapel Hill to a 38-14 win over Tatum on Friday night at Eagle Stadium.

Chapel Hill improved to 2-1 on the season, while Tatum dropped to 1-2.

Griffin scored on runs for 2, 82, and 6 yards. He also threw a 6-yard scoring pass to Quinzarius Daniel.

Chapel Hill's defense also forced four Tatum turnovers -- two fumbles and two interceptions.

Tatum's two touchdowns were scored by Jimmie Jakubowski and Jachias Jenkins.

Both teams are back in action next Friday night. Chapel Hill plays host to Gladewater, while Tatum plays at Wills Point.
