WHITEHOUSE -- It was the JaMicka Polk and Keyshawn Kelley show for Corsicana on Friday night against Whitehouse.

The two Bulldogs running backs combined for 418 yards and six total touchdowns to lift Corsicana to a 59-23 win over Whitehouse on Friday.

The win kept Corsicana (6-1, 3-1 in District 16-5A) in a three-way tie for second place in district with Ennis and Lufkin. Whitehouse fell to 2-5 on the season and 0-4 in league play.

Polk ran wild, totaling 280 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries. Kelley ran 21 times for 138 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw a touchdown in the win.

Corsicana finished with 556 total yards, with 537 coming on the ground. After the Bulldogs started their scoring with Kelley's touchdown pass and a field goal, they scored seven rushing touchdowns in a row.

Tanner Roach led Whitehouse by going 20 of 35 passing for 263 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Roach found Zack Parker (4 catches for 62 yards) and Ashton Melton (2 catches for 47 yards) for touchdowns.
