Darrian McDuff + Rusk Keep Tatum Winless in District, 30-13

RUSK -- Darrian McDuff threw four touchdowns to lead Rusk to a 30-13 win over Tatum on Friday in a District 8-4A Division II matchup.

McDuff threw two first-half touchdowns, one to Adrian Morris for 25 yards and the other to Anthony Hunter for 13 yards, to help Rusk take a 16-8 lead at halftime. Cedric White accounted for Tatum's first-half touchdown on a 3-yard run.

Tatum cut Rusk's lead to 16-13 in the third quarter on a 2-yard touchdown run by Jachais Jenkins, but Rusk (6-2, 2-0) erupted in the fourth quarter to pull away.

McDuff found Hunter again, this time from 15 yards out, to put Rusk up 23-13 and followed with a 27-yard touchdown pass to Joseph Francis to put the game away with 2:45 on the clock.

Tatum dropped to 2-6 on the season and 0-2 in district with the loss.
