ATLANTA -- Jawan King ran for 137 yards and three touchdowns to lead Atlanta to a 34-16 win over Gladewater on Friday night in a District 7-4A Division II matchup.

Andrew Samples added 70 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries for Atlanta (4-4, 1-2), which notched its first district win of 2017.

Isaiah Davis led Gladewater (2-6, 1-2) with 120 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.

Atlanta raced out to a 21-3 lead at halftime, thanks to two touchdown runs by King and one by Samples.

Gladewater would get within 11 points after Davis' 16-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter, but Samples scored his second touchdown of the game to put Atlanta back up 18 and end the game.
