JEFFERSON –– The Jefferson Bulldogs celebrated homecoming by lighting up the scoreboard up for another win tonight, 41-7, Friday night over Hughes Springs.

The Bulldogs' (6-0, 2-0 in District 7-3A Division I) high-powered offense and tenacious defense was just too much for Hughes Springs (2-4, 0-2) to deal with on the night.

Jefferson, in its last four games, has outscored its opponents, 213-14.

Both teams have district games next week as Jefferson takes on Mount Vernon (4-1, 2-0), while Hughes Springs is at home against Atlanta (2-4, 2-0).
