Linden-Kildare’s Shardai Love + Queen City’s Kelsie Benson Share MVP Honors On 16-2A All-District Volleyball Team

Linden-Kildare's Shardai Love and Queen City's Kelsie Benson shared Most Valuable Player honors on the 16-2A all-district volleyball team, which was voted on by the league's coaches.

Other superlatives went to New Boston's Madison Thomas (Newcomer of the Year), Courtney Pedron of Redwater (Top Hitter), Queen City's Shiloh Goecke (Top Blocker), Hughes Springs' Kayla Watkins and Queen City's Ashley Lovely (Top Setters), Hooks' Kaylyn Roberts (Top Libero), Alexa Oestmann of Queen City and Linden-Kildare's Alyssa Cummings (Top Defenders).

Hughes Springs' Amy Blackwell and Susan Childress of Queen City were voted the league's top coaches.
