WHITEHOUSE -- Logan Hughes threw three touchdowns and ran for two more to keep Elysian Fields' perfect season alive in a 63-21 rout of Jewett Leon on Friday night in a Class 3A Division II area round matchup at Wildcat Stadium.

Now 12-0, Elysian Fields will face unbeaten Newton in the regional round at a date and site still to be determined.

Hughes completed 11 of 19 passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 138 yards and two more scores on 11 carrires. He hit Dylan Parker five times for 113 yards and three scores.

T.J. Ratliffe and Chris Smith also ran for touchdowns, while Garrett McIntosh also threw a touchdown in the win. Braden Shaffer caught three balls for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Blake Lowry, who went 15 of 37 for 270 yards and two touchdowns for Leon, got his team within 14-7 on a 74-yard pass to Cash Crane late in the first quarter, but it was all Elysian Fields from there.

Parker's third touchdown of the night gave the Yellow Jackets a 55-7 lead midway through the third quarter, but Nathan Johnson gave Elysian Fields its biggest lead of the night on a 27-yard touchdown to make the score 63-13 eight seconds into the fourth quarter.
