Patrick Mahomes Accounts for Seven Touchdowns in No. 3 Whitehouse’s Rout of Lindale
LINDALE -- Patrick Mahomes accounted for seven touchdowns as No. 3 Whitehouse cruised past Lindale 63-7 Friday night in the District 16-4A opener at Eagle Stadium.
Mahomes completed 18 of 39 passes for 337 yards and five touchdowns and added 102 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.
Whitehouse (6-0, 1-0) and Lindale (1-5, 0-1) also combined for 32 penalties for almost 300 yards.
Coleman Patterson had eight catches for 114 yards and a touchdown. Jake Parker had five receptions for 96 yards and a score, while Jaylon Dews and Ryan Cheatham each caught three passes and scored a touchdown.
Vincent Dunning led Whitehouse on the ground with 97 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.
Whitehouse returns to action next Friday night at home against Jacksonville, while Lindale faces John Tyler on the road also Friday.
