Pittsburg’s Camryn Edney is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Player of the Week
Camryn Edney caused several problems for the Kilgore defense Friday.
Edney, a linebacker at Pittsburg, finished with 24 tackles, a sack and forced two fumbles in the Pirates 25-19 victory. He is the Week 5 ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Defensive Player of the Week. He follows West Rusk's Coltan Mills, who took the award in Week 4.
Edney leads Pittsburg with 66 tackles, including six for loss, this season. He also has three sacks and now three forced fumbles.
The Pirates (3-2) face Rusk (0-5) at 7:30 p.m. Friday before opening District 6-4A Division II play against Pleasant Grove the following week.
